Doulas & midwives, labor union reps & freelance workers, business owners & you—we’ll all hunker down to talk about some of the most important stuff we’ll ever do: get pregnant, get born, and go to work!

This is going to be a highly participatory evening of live music, videos, and discussion about the past, present, and future of how we value the work we do, whether that’s punching a clock or carrying a baby!

Some of the questions we’ll be mulling over:

• What’s the value of being a parent? Can you put a monetary figure to it?
  
  
• Is your job just a means to make money, while you live and enjoy your life after that? Or is your job your passion?
  
  
• What kind of value do we WANT to place on Labor? What prevents us from making change in the workplace?
  
  
• Are there alternatives to how we view and participate in Labor right now?
